JJ Rolan Artist, living in the UK, she/her.
JJ lives with her husband and a few beloved pets. She is passionate about illustration and image making, often with a strong narrative linked to personal and shared experiences. As a queer, disabled woman and survivor, she is finding her voice and embracing the creative process.

Although primarily disciplined in drawing and painting, JJ also enjoys animation, sculpture, textile and mixed media art. Her long-term love of dolls also led to her work as a doll artist under the small brand JeshiiDoll, culminating in her end of year gallery show for her Art & Design BA (hons) degree at the University of Kent.
(After waiting 15 years to pluck up the confidence to apply to university, she joyfully received a 1st for her efforts!)
