Basking Heart (WIP)

Basking Heart is a work in progress series exploring themes of obsession and death. The basking shark motif has a deeply personal meaning for the artist, delving into their feelings of terror. The surroundings are a dreamscape; the boundaries of the water and the woods, what is above and what is below, are blurred and surreal. The narrative of the piece will become clearer once finished, but for now the dark, nightmarish imagery teases the work in progress. Digital on procreate (2025-)
